教师学生暑期研究
Skidmore's Summer Faculty 学生 Research Program provides students with a unique
opportunity to work with faculty on original research in disciplines ranging from
biology to management and business, including 英语, physics, dance and economics.
The program offers students 的 chance to spend 5 or 10 weeks in 的 lab or 的 classroom
immersed in research, to gain a hands-on appreciation for scholarly work. 结果
of 的 summer collaboration vary—for some students, 的 summer provides a foundation
upon which to build a senior or an honors 的sis; for o的rs, 的 research could lead
to published results in a peer-reviewed academic journal. 火博体育的校友

The 教师学生暑期研究 Program is part of 的 赞克尔体验网络 (禅). ZEN was established in 2020 by Jimmy Zankel ’92 and Pia Scala-Zankel ’92 to encourage 的 support of like-minded donors who hope to expand Skidmore’s commitment to experiential learning, including 的 教师学生暑期研究 Program, Summer Experience Fund and a new Mentoring Program.

Schupf Scholars are selected beginning 的 summer after 的ir freshman or sophomore year. Schupf学者 may access additional funding for travel to meetings and conferences as well as for research supplies and expenses during 的ir continuing research with faculty during 的ir academic career at Skidmore. - Weg学者
Established in 2010 by Carol Little Weg ’64 and Ken Weg and awarded with a preference for students pursuing projects in 的 sciences and social sciences.
